The Integrated Anti-Ballistic Missile Program (IAP) is the Osean Federation's combined ABM assets that first went online in 1983. The first component of the system was a network of PAVE PAWS radars replacing aging BMEWS arrays in northern Osea, North Point, and Anea, providing full radar coverage over Yuktobania and permitting tracking of missiles from launch to their terminal phase. Operational in 1981, the project's next stage was the introduction of SM-3 missiles compatible with Flight II Excalibur class cruisers; through datalink between the SM-3s, the Excaliburs' ship-based radars, and the PAVE PAWS system, they became the world's first functioning ABM system when they were deployed in 1983.
